Long Beach East

Crescent is a 40-unit permanent supportive housing (PSH) community in Long Beach, developed by Linc Housing through California’s Project Homekey program. Formerly a Motel 6 and known during development as Long Beach East / LINC-Long Beach East, the property was converted into permanent housing for individuals who have experienced homelessness and require supportive services.

The community includes 39 studio apartments and one manager’s unit, with resident studios measuring approximately 215 square feet. Units serve households earning at or below 30% of Area Median Income (AMI) and are supported by Project-Based Section 8 Vouchers administered through the Long Beach Housing Authority.  On-site amenities include a community room, outdoor common and dining areas, BBQ area, dog park, bicycle storage, and private offices for case management and resident services. The property also offers convenient access to public transportation, nearby shopping, and community services.

A key component of Crescent is its supportive-services model. Residents have access to intensive case management and wraparound supportive services, with support associated with Los Angeles County’s Department of Health Services/Housing for Health, helping residents maintain housing stability and connect with needed community resources.
